When our eyes met on that very first day,

The words “I love you” were all I wanted to say.

Times kept us together, times kept us apart,

But could never dictate what we felt in our hearts.

I loved you then and I love you now.

My concerns fly far from the mysteries of “how”.

Your only crime would be asking me to stop,

Stop living the dream of the broken man arisen.

It’s all I want for eternity, you and me sewing our story right into history.

We may have known many sorrows, but what we have is never far from a tomorrow.

Our love is a blooming rose surviving harsh winters,

And to end it would make us sinners.

Our eyes were fixed from that very first day,

And the words “I love you” are here to stay.

Love must be patient, love must be kind, if the thought of me still lives on in your mind.

I’ve lived many lies but one thing remains true, “I’m simply nothing without you”.

 

Time is no angel but he’s been so good, keeping us together for as long as he could.

Events may change, good or bad may come anew, and in the face of it all, I’m still nothing without you.

 

I was knee-deep in many mistakes, with nothing but ugly shame to beautify my face.

You thought me a masterpiece when I was in pieces. I truly hope this love never ceases.

Every little thought of you just makes unpredictable life worth living through,

And the more I realize I’m nothing without you.

 

Today is the day love fully blooms, with the crescent moon our spotlight and cupid’s arrow on cue.
